HTC has begun rolling out its Android 4.2.2 update for the HTC One, with
owners in Europe, Taiwan, and other locations receiving the
much-anticipated firmware upgrade. The latest Android version brings a
host of improvements and changes to the Sense-d HTC One. They include
enhanced launcher bar, quick settings, widget panel rearrangement, and
Android Daydream mode. The status bar can finally show the battery
percentage.
As is always the case with these kinds of updates, you might have to wait a little longer depending on where you bought your phone, and if you have carrier-branded HTC One then that might add several weeks to your wait. In any case, if you’ve got a European HTC One, head to Settings > About > Software updates and let us know if you’re getting the update yet.
