Android 4.4 KitKat hits Samsung Galaxy S4 and Note 3 in the UK

Samsung has started seeding the Android 4.4 KitKat update for the Galaxy S4 and the Galaxy Note 3 throughout the UK. According to reports, Android 4.4.2 Kitkat is available for owners of unlocked Samsung Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note 3 handsets to download over the air (OTA) now. The update weighs in at around 300-400MB in size, and delivers several updates to the two handsets.

The latest update brings a bunch of new improvements and features to the devices. Some of them includes visual tweaks such as white notification bar icons, better lockscreen with support for full-screen music album art and a dedicated camera shortcut, some minor UI updates (monochrome status bar icons) and improved stability.
