LG has started the roll out of Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for its smartphones. The first one to receive the newest Android upgrade is the LG G4 users in Poland and Korea. In the coming month, it will be releasing the update for the LG G3 owners in Poland.
The report from Polish tech site Tablety states that the LG G3, last year’s LG flagship, would begin receiving the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update in a rollout scheduled to begin in the region somewhere between Dec. 16 and Dec. 18.
The update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow will deliver a lot of new features, changes and improvements, but most aren’t very visual. Google’s improved performance, battery life, security, and more. New features like Google Now on Tap, permission controls, Doze battery life adjustments and more which we’ve detailed above.
The LG G Flex 2 is one of the first smartphones to feature the Snapdragon 810 chipset. However, there is no confirmation on when will it be blessed with Android 6.0 update. Currently, the handset is running on Android 5.0.1 Lollipop.
